Dokra collection
Dhokra is made using the lost-wax casting technique (also known as cire perdue), which involves creating a wax model over a clay core, covering it in clay, and then melting the wax out to form a mold. Molten brass or bell metal is poured into this hollow mold, and after the metal cools and solidifies, the outer clay mold is chipped away to reveal the finished metal sculpture.
